Job offer: Deputy General Manager | 8+ | Manufacturing | Mumbai

Our client is a leading player in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector, specifically within the Automotive Industry, with a substantial footprint across India and a team size exceeding 1000 professionals.

• Advising on legal matters and perform legal research for the benefit of an organization
• Drafting and negotiating high value contracts and M&A transactions
• Ensuring the legality of the company's activities and safeguard its reputation.
• Providing legal advice on corporate, procurement, and sales & quality matters
• Monitoring and keep abreast of changes in laws that affect the Automotive Industry
• Maintaining professional networks and keep abreast of changes in legislation.
• Ability to oversee and effectively manage external counsel
• Experience in regulatory advisory, policy advocacy and governmental interaction
• Experience of working in the manufacturing sector

A successful Deputy General Manager - Legal should have:

• At least 8+ years of overall experience in the legal field.
• Open to Mumbai as a location
• Candidate should come with experience dealing with the Industrial / Manufacturing sector, particularly in the Automotive Industry will be advantage.
• Experience in law firm and/or within an in-house corporate legal team
