Kalavantin Durg named after Queen Kalavantin is Known to be the most adventurous fortress in and around Mumbai. It was used as a watchtower. The rock cut zig zag stairs makes this trek a difficult one. If you are a novice this is going to be a tough one for sure but the view from the peak is going to settle up every effort you put to get to the top.

14:30 - Meet at Panvel station
15:00 - Reach Base camp by taxi
15:00 - Start trekking
17:30 - Tea & snacks at the Plateau
20:30 - Dinner & Night stay in a tent under the open sky
Day 2 - Sunday - Kalavantin Durg
07:00 - Tea
07:10 - Start trekking to the top to the fort
08:30 - Back to the plateau
08:00 - Snacks
08:30 - Descend down to base camp
10:00 - Take a taxi from base camp
10:20 - Disperse at Panvel station
