The technology enables home-style cooked food to be packed in 4 layer laminated retort pouches under vacuum like conditions. These pouches are then commercially heat sterilized to inactivate any microbiological spores. The vacuum created in the pack inhibits any further growth of microorganisms, hence preserving the food without the usage of any artificial preservatives and maintaining the nutrition value.
