KOHNLE GmbH was founded by Mr. Wolfgang KOHNLE. He transferred the ownership to a US based capital venture in 1989 and from their the company was purchased by a small group of local and private shareholders. It remained established on the same location of Birkenfeld / Pforzheim - in the south of Germany situated at northern outbound of the black forest with the expansion in production facilities and product range.
For the first 20 years of its existence, KOHNLE mainly focused on the jewelry and watch industry. With these two industries, KOHNLE also focuses on industry for surgical instruments.
