We have over three decades of experience of running ferrous foundries. We can provides castings with machined/ finish from 10-1500 kg single piece weight. SALIENT FEATURES:- • Our engineering staff will work with you to identify casting design improvements that can be made in our pattern shops to lower your total cost of production. • Our metallurgical labs can provide assurance from special nodularity counts, to physical properties, Brinell hardness test. Tensile test and bend test. • We also do sand testing like strength test, permeability test, and hardness test, to get the optimum properties of sand. • Total conformance to the highest standards of quality has always been the routine practice at MAKSIM ALLOYS since its inception. • All the castings manufactured bear a unique Heat No. on un-machined surface which helps us maintain a precise traceability of the material used and processes involved. FACILITIES:- • DESIGN AND PATTERN MAKING SHOP In-house pattern shop with state of the art design and modeling facilities. Large area with 1800 sq feet for storage of pattern with range of small to very large size • MOULDING SHOP Pneumatic rammers Sand compactors for hand molding employing green, co2, no bake & oil sand systems. Sand mixture and sand Muller with capacity of 500kg/each Various mould boxes with range of 18*22 inch to 84*84 inch Pneumatic molding machine 2 EOT cranes with 5 tones & 3 tones capacities • MELTING SHOP Equipped with 2 “INDUCTOTHERM” induction furnace with 750 KW medium frequency, Having 1300 kg nominal capacity and 2 “ELECTROTHERM” Induction furnace with 150 KW medium frequency, having 500 kg for single piece finish casting C meter & pyrometer facility • FETTLING SHOP Trained staff and well equipped with, 3 heavy duty swing frame grinders, 5 flexible shaft grinders, Sanders, 3 pneumatic chippers 1 “INDABRATOR” Shot blasting machine with 72 “table Various gauge making processes for accurate dimensional assurance • CHEMICAL & PHYSICAL TESTING LABORATORY We have a well equipped laboratory with qualified technical staff Chemical testing Gravimetric system for chemical analysis, A strong tie-up with a reputed and accredited material testing laboratory for spectro Analysis Physical testing Tensile & Elongation testing by 40 ton UTS Machine Hardness testing by Rockwell & poldy hardness testers. Microscopic examination with image analysis by 1000x magnification & other required physical testing, Strong tie-up with organizations conducting NDT’s like radiography testing etc Quality Control Quality Control departments perform dimensional layout for sample castings, and can qualify a casting by either target machining or by the use of a qualifying fixture with well experienced engineers. At each and every place, Close circuit camera are placed to close control on the processing by the top management We have achieved our target of less than 5% rejection in past two years, and our next target is to bring it to less than 2% More than 92% of orders are delivered on-time.
