He started off from a trading firm in the year 1960 by the name Pavan Silk House in Hyderabad. From a small trading firm to a large reputed process house, which it is today, there were a lot of milestones achieved. In the year 1992, Mr. Bajrang Prasad Gupta initiated his ideology of starting a manufacturing unit and hence Pavan Silk Mills Pvt. Ltd. was established in the year 1993. He has contributed largely to the Pavan’s in being a leader in manufacturing of textiles throughout India.



After achieving a reputation in the market, his thirst would not quench from only this. In the year 2004, he diversified his line of business from manufacturers of textiles to the manufacturers of plastic moulded furniture by the brand name “Neelkanth”. Later in the year 2009, he diversified in the business of manufacturing of Decorative Laminates, one of the biggest milestones in the History of Pavan’s.
