Genesis Membrane was established in late 1992 with the main objective to promote products of M/s. Membrane Products Kiryat Weizmann Ltd., Israel. The Israeli Co. was subsequently taken over by Koch Membrane Systems Inc. USA in 1996. Currently Genesis is working with M/s Koch Membrane Systems Inc., USA, M/s Trisep Corporation, USA , M/s Hydranautics Nitto Group Company, USA, and M/s. Fairey Industrial Ceramics Ltd., U.K. besides others. Genesis has so far designed, manufactured and installed over 400 plants in India and abroad in water, waste water treatment including Zero discharge and for process applications. The Company is jointly promoted by Dr. B. Chakravorty, Mr. Viren Gohil and Mr. Kirit B. Shah.

Technology, Bombay. He has experience in the field of membranes for 36 years. He was a Fulbright fellow and research Professor at University of Kentucky USA in 1988. Visiting Research Fellow at the Central Salt and Marine Chemical Research Institute, Bhavnagar, 1990 – 93. He has founded the Indian Desalination Association (InDA) in 1991, which was an affiliate of the International Desalination Association. He is President of Indian Membrane Society. ([email protected])
