DR KANWAL PREET GANDHI - New Delhi

PLEASE BE AWARE ....I am a tourist in india and have been here for a few months. I started getting pain n realized I had a cyst outside my ovary. This doctor was recommended by my landlord so we went to see her. At first she was great but booking the surgurey itself was a hassel as this whole hospital was very unprofessional. I eventually went through with the surgurey and woke up in the operating room screaming n crying in horrible pain. I kept asking for pain killers but no one seemed to care.. It took the doctor over 2 hrs to come n see me to give me meds for the pain. The thing that blew my mind was at that moment while im crying from pain she says to me something went wrong in your surgurey. I asked what and she says "don't worry I'll tell u tomorrow". Tomorrow comes along and the nurse admits the wrong mexication and I start having a seizure even though I had mentioned to them my allergies to certain medications. The next day the doc finally comes to see me and says to me my tubes are blocked and I would need IVF if we wanted kids and theres no other options for us. Upon hearing this my husband n I naturally asked "why" "what happened to my tubes ?" All she could say was "why ask why". I was in shock as to how doc could say this and not even explain why? What was wrong with my tubes? What happened? .....nothing I got absolutely no answeres. She just wanted us to come back for IVF. She obviously knew we were foreigners and had the money so all she saw was $$$$$$ .....its so sad. I have lived the past week in pain and depressed. I have come to realize that after some research and speaking to fam n friends back home that there actually are many other options and procedures to unblocking tubes. Like I said this doc seems God sent at first but she really only sees $$$$$ signs and thats what shes after. By far this was the worst experience I have ever had at a hospital and a doctor.
